Effective date: 27 August 2026

Joydom Engineering Pte Ltd (“Joydom”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, protect and retain personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). It applies to our website, quotation and booking enquiries, communications and services.

1. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • your name, telephone number, email address and preferred contact method;
  • your service address, property type, access instructions and appointment details;
  • job descriptions, measurements, photographs, videos, plans and files you provide;
  • quotation, work order, invoice, payment and service history;
  • messages and call, email, WhatsApp, live-chat, feedback or support records; and
  • technical and usage information such as IP address, browser, device, referral source, pages viewed and cookie identifiers.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal data that is not needed for your enquiry or service.

2. How we collect personal data

We collect personal data when you submit a website form, request a quotation, book or pay for a service, contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp, live chat or social media, provide feedback, or otherwise deal with us. We may also receive it from a property owner, authorised representative, referral partner or service provider, and through cookies and similar technologies when you use our website.

3. Why we use personal data

We may use personal data to:

  • respond to enquiries and prepare quotations;
  • schedule, deliver, document and follow up on services;
  • process payments and maintain business, warranty and accounting records;
  • provide customer support and resolve complaints or disputes;
  • manage safety, prevent fraud, protect our systems and enforce our terms;
  • analyse and improve our website, services and customer experience;
  • comply with legal, regulatory and insurance obligations; and
  • send service updates, offers or marketing where you have consented or where permitted by law.

4. Disclosure of personal data

We may disclose relevant personal data to our employees, technicians and subcontractors where needed to assess or perform a job. We may also use service providers for website hosting, forms, communications, analytics, security, payment processing, accounting, storage and professional advice. These parties may use the data only for the relevant purpose and are expected to protect it.

We may disclose data where required by law, a court or public authority, to protect safety or legal rights, or in connection with a business reorganisation. We do not sell personal data.

5. Overseas transfers

Some technology providers may process or store data outside Singapore. Where the PDPA requires it, we take reasonable steps to ensure transferred personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use essential cookies and similar technologies for security, forms, preferences and performance. We may also use analytics tools, including Google and Microsoft services, to understand visits and improve the site. These providers may collect device and usage information under their own privacy terms. You can restrict cookies through your browser settings, although some website features may not work correctly.

7. Marketing and Do Not Call preferences

You may ask us to stop marketing messages at any time by using an unsubscribe option where provided or contacting us. We will process the request within a reasonable period, although we may still send non-marketing messages about an enquiry, booking, payment, safety issue or service. We handle telephone marketing in accordance with applicable Do Not Call provisions.

8. Protection and data breaches

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. No internet or storage system is completely secure. If a data breach is likely to result in significant harm or is otherwise notifiable, we will assess and notify affected individuals and the Personal Data Protection Commission as required by law.

9. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including service, warranty, accounting, dispute-resolution and legal requirements. We then delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it where practicable.

10. Access, correction and withdrawal of consent

You may request access to personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data, or withdraw consent for a particular use or disclosure. We may need to verify your identity and may charge a reasonable fee where permitted. We will explain the likely consequences of withdrawing consent; it may affect our ability to provide a requested service. Legal exceptions may apply.

11. Children

Our website and services are not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate authorisation, please contact us so we can review it.

12. Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party websites or platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.
