Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Joydom website and the services provided by Joydom Engineering Pte Ltd (“Joydom”, “we”, “our” or “us”) in Singapore. By requesting a quote, making a booking, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

Our services

Joydom provides handyman, repair, renovation and maintenance services for homes and offices across Singapore, including (among others) plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, aircon, tiling, doors and windows. The exact scope of any job is the scope confirmed in the quote we agree with you.

Quotes and pricing

• Quotes are provided free of charge and are based on the information and photos you give us.
• A quote is an estimate for the described scope. If the actual scope, site conditions or materials differ once we are on-site, we will pause and confirm any change in price with you before continuing.
• Quotes are valid for the period stated in them, or for 30 days if no period is stated.

Bookings, scheduling and site access

• A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a scope, price and appointment time with you.
• You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area at the agreed time, and for informing us of any hazards or special conditions.
• If our team cannot access the site at the agreed time, a call-out or waiting charge may apply.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as early as possible. Cancellations made at short notice, or after our team has been dispatched, may incur a charge to cover our costs. Any such charges will be made clear to you.

Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due on completion of the work. We accept PayNow, bank transfer and cash, and can provide a receipt or invoice on request. For larger jobs, a deposit or staged payments may be agreed in advance.

Workmanship warranty

We stand by our work and provide a workmanship warranty on eligible jobs for the period stated in your quote or invoice. The warranty covers the quality of our workmanship; it does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, damage caused by others, or issues arising from materials or fittings supplied by you. If something is not right, contact us and we will arrange to put it right.

Parts, materials and fittings

Where we supply parts or materials, any manufacturer warranty on those items applies in addition to our workmanship warranty. Where you supply your own parts or materials, we cannot warrant those items or issues arising from them.

Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information about the job and the property.
• Obtain any permissions required (for example from a landlord, MCST or management corporation) before work begins.
• Keep children and pets clear of the work area for safety.

Liability

We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for pre-existing defects, or for issues outside the agreed scope of work. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.

Photos and marketing

We may take before-and-after photos of completed work for our records and to showcase our services (for example on our website or social media). We will not identify your exact address or personal details. If you would prefer we do not use photos of your job, just let us know.

Promotions and offers

Promotions and offers shown on our website are subject to their own terms, availability and expiry, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Only one promotion may apply per job unless we state otherwise.

Website use and intellectual property

The content, design, logo and images on this website belong to Joydom or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our permission. You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to disrupt its operation.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
